One of the tour leader will pick you up at the airport and transport you to your accommodation
Early Morning you will depart towards the north of Quito, with two or three stops on the way to Otavalo Market, for tasting, lookout points, or visiting the Equator line.
Once at the Otavalo Market, you will have time for shopping and experience the culture of this well preserved indigenous community.
Then it will be time for lunch at one of the recommended restaurants.
After lunch, you will head to a nearby community and waterfall called "Peguche", where you will go for a 20-minute walk before heading Back to Quito.
Early morning you will be keen to visit the well preserved, Quito Oldtown with its main, churches, convents and squares, full of locals and it´s everyday life. Then a visit to the "Panecillo" lookout point, have lunch and start heading south of Quito to your accommodation at the city of Latacunga located in the heart of the Avenue of the volcanoes.
Head to the heart of the Andes towards the Quilotoa community and crater lake, where it will be optional to walk down into the crater lake or just enjoy the view from the lookout deck.
Have lunch and head to visit the Chimborazo Volcano and to the Town of Guamote for a good night sleep.
You will ride the train in the morning which will take you to the most difficult tracks ever built, "The Devil´s nose". To then continue to the most important Inca Ruins of Ecuador "Ingapirca", and continue to Cuenca which is a city full of colonial architecture and also declared a world heritage.
Early Morning, you will have a walk of around 4 hours to visit Cuenca´s Oldtown, Parque Calderon and it´s surroundings, Open market, Straw Hat Museum and have Lunch to then go out at night to the Cuenca's lookout point, "El Turi"
This day you will depat from Cuenca in the morning towards Riobamba depending on the day there will be an stop at the Guamote Open Market, then get to Riobamba to rest for the night
Early morning you will depart to the city of Baños, going through the town of Ambato and the Salasaca community where you can visit he Salasaca Market, Once in Baños you will have lunch to then visit the route of the waterfalls, including the gigantic waterfall at the Rio Verde the famous devil´s cauldron or "Pailon del Diablo". Also in this area, you can ride the cable car or experience the zip line. Then will continue the journey to Misahualli and stay overnight at an Ecolodge.
Visit the jungle communities and their traditions base on availability weather and river conditions. You will visit by motorized canoe one or two communities through the Napo river and learn about their customs, habits, and traditions, in general, the way they live, hunt, goldpanning in the river, make the Yucca beverage, or the traditional dance used for their local fests.
In the morning you will depart from Misahualli to Quito, you will arrive to Quito by midday; so you can count on this to fly back home the same afternoon or at night. Or in case you decide to extend your stay we can drop you off at any accommodation close to the Quito Airport.
